T.F. Torrance is a well-known Scottish theologian who was Professor of Church History, then Dogmatic Theology at New College, Edinburgh. He served as Moderator of the Church of Scotland General Assembly, and won the Templeton Prize for Religion. This booklet explains his thought.

Alan Marley was born in Kent and educated at Dulwich College and Birmingham University. He has served as a Church Army officer in East London, and lived at the Taize Community in France for two years. He was subsequently trained for ordination at the Queen’s College in Birmingham, and later worked in Dorset.
